“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

— Matthew 28:19-20

The Missions Ministry allows First Baptist Church of Castroville to reach out to our community and help those in need so we can demonstrate the love of God as individuals and as a church. The Bible teaches us that Jesus Christ met people’s physical needs many times before he told them about the kingdom of God. His actions remind us that people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.
We seek to assist those who are in need and/or are not physically capable of making repairs to their homes.

FBCC has made a commitment and is dedicated to meet the needs of the community of Eagle Pass. Eagle Pass, Texas is located in Maverick County, one of the poorest counties in the U.S. Each year, First Baptist Church of Castroville makes a series of mission trips to Eagle Pass. Our largest mission trip is scheduled each June or July.

The mission of our Construction Ministry is to build or repair homes for families residing in dangerous structures due to damage and disrepair. The Vacation Bible School ministry teaches the Word of God to Eagle Pass children and youth through Bible stories, games, crafts and music. The Sports Camp is designed for youth and occurs in the evenings in the gym at the church where we stay.
